Mellon Collie saved my life and made me realize I need to be an artist. I’ve never been confident in my ability as a performer, but the beauty and passion of Billy’s voice and songwriting made me feel like it was safe to be on stage with a voice that doesn’t match the “approved” idea of what a singer should sound like.
