I remember watching MTV with my older brother who introduced me to Smashing Pumpkins when I was around 9 or 10 years old when Mellon Collie came out. I was enchanted by the Tonight Tonight’s music video that resembled a silent movie. I’ve never seen like it. Back then, I didn’t care about the lyrics too much. It’s only when I got a little older when I understood the lyrics when I started to pick up the guitar and learned how to play it. I was lucky to hear it live when SP played here in Manila earlier this month.
