You were wonderful, as always! A light as bright as the sun. I was drawn to you like a light in the middle of the nite, so I followed. Never knowing where it would lead, but I have found myself again. You have no idea, but your music helped heal wounds that would not heal, the loss of your Mother helped me with the loss of my own. Music is so valuable and people who write it touch the souls of so many, You touch souls Billy, thank you for touching mine.

Awesome as always, but some always have to ruin the show for others....

I haven't seen the Pumpkins play since 1998 (with the exception of the Chicago Songs show at the Metro and Billy's solo show at the Vic). They were awesome as they could ever be, playing either guitars or kazoos.

Right before they started playing Today, four complete a-holes decided that it would be a great idea to run and shove their way to the front of the crowd, knocking several people down, stomping on feet, spilling peoples drinks, and damn near trampling a girl (next to me and my husband) that stood maybe 4'10" tall. In all the Pumpkin shows I've been to over the last 15 years, I have never seen such complete disrespect for other people. They were screaming at people, trying to mosh during acoustic songs, slamming into people on purpose trying to start fights...

To the people that did this: If you want up front, wait in line like everyone else. There's no reason to be a d i c k about it. People, excuse me, FANS that came to see the show shouldn't have to spend half the night physically defending themselves because you got drunk and decided to push people over. You're lucky the bigger guy was the only one punching you back into place. If the rest of us decided to sink to that level, we would have all kicked your a s s.

Amazing

Lets start out saying i lost more then a hundred dollars at the casino, and another hundred from an unsold ticket i tried to scalp for weeks that no one wanted. Even tried to get the old locals at the casino to buy it, but no luck. But to no suprise this show was worth all the money and more.

The show was in a brand new theater that was impressive but not what i expected. Waited in line for maybe 3 hours and ended up in second row with some hardcore somewhat snobby fans. My friend had to use the bathroom but didnt want to loose our spot so we borrowed a water bottle from a lady. Ended up whipping it out and filled the bottle, plus an entire beer cup haha. Thats dedication folks.

Show starts and crowd goes crazy to Tarantula. The Venue is on the second floor directly over the casino, so when the crowd jumped the floor started moving up and down like a trampoline! Pretty odd feeling but was really fun. G.L.O.W was next and was a decent rock song, looking forward to the officail recording. Next was Siva with a trippy extended section which rocked. Eye was a nice suprise. Mayonaise and tonight, tonight are always appreciated. Speed kills sounded awesome with a dark bass riff. Transformer! what the haell no way! Then on to a combined Superchrist and United States that was truely rocked. Played out the national anthem to almost its entirety and ended the song different which is cool.

Now comes the acoustic set which is always a nice touch. Would have liked to hear maybe another choice off of adore and would have replaced again, again, again, with Pox from their EP. Rose March is a great song always. Then comes today and bullet which is standard. I totally called that they would play the beggining is the end is the beggining, which was a down right creepy song, watching billy sing without a guitar was different. Heavy metal machine.. seeing billy and jeff shread while jimmy pounds away is the best thing i have ever seen. Watching billy go crazy on guitar and watching him get into it and trip around stage and get low to the ground with that evil look in his eye gives me chills still. Glass theme was a great follow up. Then set the control. Wow is all i can say to that, truely amazing 20 min of craziness. Then we only come out at night and in the summertime with kazoo solos from the entire band!! It was so funny and great to see billy laughing and smiling, it was different but a lot of fun with everyone singing along. A great suprising end to the show but would have liked to see them come back for one more song, maybe an ode to no one to rock us all goodnight. I stayed after the lights went out with alot of other fans and ended up getting a Ginger Reyes pic. Went home and played cherub rock and soma on guitar with it. Some other fan in front of us got the set list which i really wanted. The security guards thought we were all crazy staying after. He would only give out the pics to the girls who were giving him hugs and not me who was begging to get that damn pic. He eventually gave me one. One girl was actually crying and shaking cuz she get a pic and i asked if i could touch it haha. She was reluctant at first but trusted me knowing i was a fellow fan. Security thought we were all nuts. The fans were all great people except for the snobby guy who knew we were pissing in bottles and the girl who was annoyed with us cuz we were screaming at the top of our lungs and couldnt remember all the song names although we knew the lyrics to every song. Whatever.

Recap: Dont put all your money on black its always red, pissing in a waterbottle is ok if you have a cap and throw it in the security section, and the pumpkins rock like no other. Billy is GOD. Overall one of the best nights ive ever had. Thanks Pumpkins for the amazing show!

Shocking show......

It was a real treat to be in the crowd at this show. The set wasn't anything like I was expecting. I never dreamed I'd hear the Pumpkins doing Pink Floyd. Siva, Eye, Transformer, Glass' Theme, Once Upon a Time, and even a little We Only Come Out at Night for good measure. I was even lucky enough to be pelted with a guitar pic by Billy during Superchrist. I have tickets for the Louisville show, and I can't wait.

It's the word coming when I thought at those two shows that I saw. I don't know why but I have the smile on my face.

Go feel it!

And I adore the end. They were relaxed, smiling, including the crowd in their song. Great!

What an eclectic set - truly an awesome set list. Getting Transformer and Eye like gauphil mentioned was spectacular, plus Glass and Speed Kills, and an epic rendition of United States. But I'm ashamed to admit, there were a good handful of songs I've not heard - Does anyone have a setlist? Or know of a good resource for them, once people get a chance to post?

Can hardly wait!

After the surprise of seeing rare gems such as "We only come out at night", "Transformer" and "Eye" between others, played in Davenport, I can't wait to see the setlist for that gig! Show on in a couple of hours. Lucky people in Indiana, I hope you get your ass kicked as hard as people of Iowa yesterday!! Rock on Mighty SP!
