i actually haven't been listening to the smashing pumpkins for very long at all.what actually got me to listen to them is when i heard they were putting out their first album in seven years.i heard the song "tarantula" and loved it so i bought the album and i love it.so then i really started to get interested in hearing more or their work.so i started listening to mp3's,watching some old videos,and buying their other albums.finding that a lot of my favourite work of there's isn't from their new album but from "mellon collie and the infinite sadness".along with "gish" and "siamese dream".i really like billy's style of writing."bullet with butterfly wings" is one of my all time favorite songs.i also really like the pumpkins sound.when you hear the music,you know exactly who it is and you really get sucked into the song.well really i heard of them,i listend to them,i liked them,so now i am a fan of theirs.
