It wasn't worth changing, i said it wasn't going to solve the problem...

they are constantly changing the way they teach to try to reach and teach each child by the specific way they learn, since not all learn the same way...they continue to find different ways...but it is not the problem...you need to address the root of the problem first...

has been going on in the united states since the 1950's and before...

the united states has more money and resources for our schools than any other country...

yet our kids are failing...

Where i am coming from is...

A President can't change the way people behave toward one another...all the schools, teachers in the world, will not change the way others treat each other, until the people themselves change...we will continue to have problems

A lot of people are poor because they don't want to go out and get a job...a lot of kids don't learn because they don't want to learn...I am not saying all, i am just saying this is true of the majority...they have the resources to make their lives better, yet they choose not to...

Many people have disrespect for others...A lot starts at home, sure not all of it does...but for the most part kids are disrespectful to their teachers because they are learning this from their parents, society....Until people start to change their behavior towards others I don't feel things will get much better, maybe for the economy etc, but a better economy is not going to make kids go to school and start to respect their teachers or other kids...

It is sad, when discussing politics or religion, sports etc people get so mad at one another if someone doesn't have the same opinion as them, they then have words instead of accepting each others opinion, kids see this, they go to school if a child isn't like them they make fun of pick on them...they do the same thing the adults are doing...Why does everyone have to think alike or be alike to get along??? why can't we have an opinion and discuss without the drama??? I don't feel anyone has to agree with my opinion, but it is just the way i feel...I value your opinion too, for you make me learn also with your words...

Until WE THE PEOPLE (that wasn't yelling) change our behavior towards each other this country known as AMERICA will continue to decline...and this isn't just the parents but adults in general..kids are innocent they learn from us...not just in school but in life...

My boys when they were young and i was going through a divorce, i pretty much had the attitude of "well i just want to go out, have a good time" I would leave my boys with sitters, was drinking and having a good time...all while my boys were starting to REACT to MY BEHAVIOR...I WOKE UP!!! I told myself, I DON'T WANT MY KIDS TO FEEL THE WAY I DID...I DON'T WANT TO BE MY MOM!!! IT WASN'T UNTIL I MADE CHANGES
WITHIN MYSELF that they changed...I couldn't blame anyone on the way they were turning out, but myself...Thank God they were young enough and i got my act together and realized what was right...although they come from a divorce they are happy, secure, productive, responsible, and treat others with respect, because I made sure they learned those things...I had to realize i am a mom, it isn't just about ME anymore...and i NEVER kept them away from their other family...It wasn't always easy, it's still not....life is a battle...when my oldest son was little in school he would sometimes get sent home for fighting...I HAD TO TELL HIM YOU DON'T FIGHT WITH OTHERS, UNLESS YOU ARE STICKING UP FOR YOURSELF...YOU NEVER PICK ON ANYONE BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT THAN YOU AND YOU PAY ATTENTION AND LISTEN TO YOUR TEACHERS BECAUSE SCHOOL IS IMPORTANT...

I'm still high... because I'm so happy...
