It is difficult to find the exact words required to explain the love I have for The Smashing Pumpkins, but here's my attempt. The most vivid reason I have is the nostalgia I feel when I listen to them. Their music takes me back to one of the best times in my life where I was in middle school and my only life concerns were what I was gonna do with friends, a girl that I had a huge crush on, and making sure I get good enough grades to keep pondering the first two. More specifically, it reminds me of a trip I took with my middle school's cheerleading team- which the girl I had a crush on was a member of. I remember my friend at the time bought Pisces Iscariot and we listened to it the whole time. Also, when I was in the bus ride home with the cheerleaders, I repeatedly listed to "Love" in between conversations with them.
I also love listening to them when I look at the stars- they're very spacy.
There it is, my reason for loving the amazing Smashing Pumpkins.
