This album could possibly be the best rock album ever! From the undertones of silver[bad word removed] to heartache of disarm.
I just want to know why nobody ever mentions Hummer! It is by far the best song on the album! And after seeing the pumpkins 10 times I have never heard it live why Billy Why?

Nice job

Amazing

What can I say. Everyone knows it. This is Smashing Pumpkins greatest album. One thing people think about when listening to Siamese Dream is Billy Corgan's past and how he let out the emotion in the songs. "Disarm" talks about his abusive stepmom. "Spaceboy" talks about his mentaly handicapped brother Jessie. Highlights of the CD are "Mayonaise", "Quiet", and "Luna". This album has changed the way I think about music. This is the best SP album and I encourage every fan who doesn't have it to buy it.

Probably My fave...

This peice of work, to me is more than just a rock album. I was so young when I first heard it, and now it's just become a part of my life that I can listen to. Years later, those songs mean so much more to me than the first time I heard them. I can really go on and on, but thank you for this. This album is timeless.

Great album. Too bad I really was too young in 1993 to discover this album back then, but I made up for it in 2000. The music has a very special sound and really marks that period I think.. The songs are of good quality and the playing level is outstanding. Siamese Dream for sure contains some of TSP's finest moments.

An album that will change your life.

From beginning to end, "Siamese Dream" is the most epic alternative rock masterpiece ever written. Never has so much power and emotion been put into an album. The fuzz, the distortion, the amazing guitar solos, and most important the lyrics. 5/5 easy. If you want to turn your life around, buy this album!

Simply..THE BEST!!!!

This album, as I'm sure for most of you, was the album that made me stand up and take notice of this incredible band. What an amazing rollercoaster of emotion and surreality this album is. It takes you on a journey...and NEVER let's go!!!! I am still mesmerized by this album's intensity and beauty after all these years. It is one of those desert island discs that you cannot afford to do without and one that I will NEVER stop listening to. It has been and will always be one of my favorite albums of all time!!!! It is Simply a timeless classic MASTERPIECE!!!! It ranks up there with THE BEST of all time rock albums and probably will never be eclipsed in the discography of SP EVER!!! That is no understatement!!! ENJOY one & all!!!!

Extraordinary size doesn't fit all

It might sound funny, but I will never be able to go back to that sweet energetic sense of emptiness of eternity that saved me from the chains of dirt. What is lost can never be saved - I listened to siamese dream for two many years. Neverthless I still find the album blissful, and it was a record that pushed me to explore some more space in music. It's hard to tell whether I would have ever become interested in let's say Voyage 34 or Piper at the gates of dawn had it not been for Pumpkins' rock revelation. I don't know what happened it did not set up a trend in rock music. It's strange there wasn't anything after-siamese like there was after-hendrix. Maybe it was too unique and too young for continuation. Or too rioting-delicate to fit rock'n'roll image.

My first SP album and still the best!

Ok everyone loves MCIS, but for me this album is by far the best I can listen to this over and over again, especially Soma, Geek USA, Today and Cherub Rock (and what the hell, all the other tracks too lol!). I first listened to this on holiday when i was a kid and never stopped loving them!!! What an album!!!

was the first SP album that I bought. It contains some of my all-time favorite SP songs, like MAYONAISE, HUMMER, TODAY, ROCKET, CHERUB ROCK, SOMA and LUNA. But the whole album is such divine... there's a lot of true feelings at the songs... purity, anger, true love, and specially... hope.

Funny

I think it's funny how people play this one off as being the absolute best, yearning to hear more of this kind of sound, and yet the ratings for the songs are less than five stars!

This album is a masterpiece, in my opinion, and I love it as much as any SP album. Rock on!

The Album that Redefined; The Album that Captured the Greatness which was the 90's.

This album is an unforgettable piece of work.
When The Smashing Pumpkins came out with, "Siamese Dream" in late July of 1993, another world was soon to be discovered.

From the pulse-pounding charged rhythm of, "Cherub Rock," through tracks like the ultra-personal, beautifully woven and gorgeous song, "Today," the undeniably hypnotic, "Hummer," the brilliant and dreamy, "Rocket," the emotionally charged, "Soma," and peaking at such unforgettable songs like, "Spaceboy," and "Sweet Sweet," "Siamese Dream" soars.

It's an album that really, never gets old, and only gets better the more and more you listen to it.

Copyrite MMVIII.
