It was awesome when Billy entered the platform. The whole world cheered, and I just couldn't believe I was seeing THE legend walk into the SAME scenario I was watching, just 8 feet from me.

When I heard the first notes of Today, I felt so alive that every time I try to recall that moment, I can only see it in a blur. Everything seems unreal and fake since then.

Hearing thirty thousand souls sing their hearts out on that first stanza...

Thank you Billy, for giving us those 30 seconds of love, happiness and dreams come true; consummated hopes that started 3 years ago, when we first heard that you would be recording a new album.

The whole concert from that point seemed unreal, as if it was a dream depicting things so different from real life, that you actually feel different yourself in that moment, as if you were different "tonight".

Thank you again for coming down here Billy, and for giving us that so profoundly moving version of "That's the way my love is". Thirty thousand souls loved it that way, too.

I was not expecting you to play Cherub Rock or Rocket, but you gave me a big and pleasant surprise with Mayonnaise. Thank you again, Billy.

I only have a little thing to regret from the concert: you didn't play Disarm.

I really wanted to hear it, as it was the song that introduced me to your music. I like even more than 1979 or Tonight tonight.

Well, on the other hand, I guess that leaves the space for another concert in Mexico City, one in which you will play Disarm. I know it sounds clearly unreal, but the hope arisen with this idea is not very different form the one I felt three years ago, when you so generously offered the world a new album form the Smashing Pumpkins.

Peace, love and a hundred years of life,

Ariel
