i might be biased because it was my first SP show and have no other SP live experience to compare it to, but i still think this show was amazing; yes, the sound did fail a few times, but that happens when you're in the front rows. Very very unfortunately i actually missed a song i later saw on youtube and went "OMFG WHERE WAS I WHEN THAT HAPPENED", and i'm talking about "Daydream".
I think that this show contains one of the lengthiest Billy's "nowhere fast" speeches, but it was totally enjoyable ("i want to get in with the Linking Park, find out what's so great about them. do we have to get a DJ?" "The guy from Linkin Park used to mow my lawn! seriously! I got them started!" and the famous part of "[bad word removed] ALTERNATIVE ROCK".).
The setlist was amazing, as proved by playing so many shows with the same setlist, but i must add that this crowd was lucky to experience one of the longest versions of this setlist.
I was honestly amazed to hear My Blue Heaven and Lily, although it had appeared on the previous setlists already. Mayonaise took my breath (and i'm not one of those who see Siamese Dream as paradigmatic) and the live version of That's The Way has got to be one of the touching moments of the show.
2,5 HOURS ISNT A LOT when you get to listen to songs like this.
The crowd seemed to have a good vibe going on, and Billy was kind as ever (this is partly a joke..

). I just wish there was an opportunity to meet them afterwards.
I'm very pleased to have travelled to GB and Scotland in particular to see pumpkins; i know this review might not sound so OMG IT WAS THE BEST THiNG THAT HAPPENED TO ME, but that's just because i'm writing this two months after it happened. It still has a special place in my heart.
