Not Bad

Saw the band 15 years ago and tonight wasn't really a patch on what they used to be like.
Sound in the Big Shed was pretty awful which was a surprise as I have seen other gigs there that were very good sound wise.
Technically Corgan is still one of the most innovative guitarists around, a great talent and the band were pretty tight but my main complaint was that some of the songs and the gig in general went on too long.
As I said Corgan is a phenomenal guitarist and his song structures are great but he spoils it by all his "noodling" at the end of songs. His solo spot was absolutely boring. Anyone can turn a guitar to 11, stick it in front of an amp with loads of effects and make a noise. Me and my mate were yawning at this point.
His random rant at the end was very good though. I wish he had done more of this throughout the gig to break it up a bit more. All in all pretty average. I wouldn't pay £33 and travel 200 miles to see them again.
